Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the sr_feuser_register extension for TYPO3, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks or compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised before returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) An unspecified error can be exploited to execute arbitrary code on the web server and e.g. delete arbitrary files.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions 1.4.0, 1.6.0, 2.2.1 to 2.2.7, 2.3.0 to 2.3.6, 2.4.0, and 2.5.0 to 2.5.9. Other versions may also be affected.
