Description: Red Hat has issued an update for vsftpd. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to a memory leak error and can be exploited to exhaust all available memory via specially crafted FTP data if e.g. the "deny_file" option is set.
NOTE: The vulnerability can be exploited via the "anonymous" account. It was introduced in a previously applied, distribution specific patch.
