Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in the JooBlog component for Joomla!, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "CategoryID" parameter in the Joomla! installation's index.php script (when "option" is set to "com_jb2" and "view" to "category") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "PostID" parameter in the Joomla! installation's index.php script (when "option" is set to "com_jb2") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieving administrator password hashes.

These vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.1.1. Other versions may also be affected.
