Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Cluster, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose sensitive information or potentially manipulate certain data.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the Sun Cluster Global File System and can be exploited to read data from deleted files owned by other users. This may also lead to data integrity issues on certain applications.
The vulnerability is reported in Sun Cluster 3.1 using global file systems mounted on top of ufs file systems.
NOTE: Sun Cluster 3.0 is reportedly not affected.
