Some vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP Image Gallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting or SQL injectio attacks.
1) Input passed to the "action" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to a user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "ctg" parameter in index.php (when "action" is set to "show") is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) Input passed to the "login" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows bypassing the authentication mechanism.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
