Description:
AmnPardaz Security Research Team has reported some vulnerabilities in Realm CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions, to disclose system information, or to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed via the "kwrd" parameter to _includes/inc_routines.asp is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "CmpctedDB" and "Boyut" parameters in _db/compact.asp is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

3) The problem is that it is possible to disclose the full path to the installation by directly accessing the _db/compact.asp script.

4) Improper access restrictions are imposed when accessing the _RealmAdmin/login.asp page. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism and gain access to administrative pages by setting a specially crafted cookie.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.3. Prior versions may also be affected.
