Description: Tobias Klein has reported a vulnerability in Sun Solaris, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to a signedness error in the IP kernel module when setting a socket's multi-cast filter. This can be exploited via a specially crafted "SIOCSIPMSFILTER" IOCTL requests.
Solution: Apply patches.
