Beschreibung:
Eine Sicherheitslücke im Linux Kernel wurde gemeldet, die böswillige Personen potenziell ausnutzen können, um einen DoS (Denial of Service) zu verursachen.

Die Sicherheitslücke besteht aufgrund eines Begrenzungsfehlers in der Funktion "pppol2tp_recvmsg()" und kann potenziell ausgenutzt werden, um über ein speziell präpariertes "PPP over L2TP"-Paket eine Korruption des Kernelspeichers zu verursachen.

Die Sicherheitslücke wurde in 2.6.x Versionen vor 2.6.26-rc6 gemeldet.

Lösung:
Aktualisieren Sie auf Version 2.6.26.
