Solution:
Avaya CMS:
The vendor recommends that local and network access to the affected systems be restricted until an update is available. Reportedly, suggested Sun workarounds are present by default.

Avaya IR:
Configurations where the RENDER extension is enabled are not supported by the vendor. The vendor recommends applying existing Sun workarounds if the extension is enabled.
