Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Nortel Communication Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the Signaling Server when processing certain commands sent via the ELAN (Embedded LAN). This can be exploited to cause a DoS via a specially crafted, overly large command.

The vulnerability is reported in version 4.5, 5.0, and 5.5.
