Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Nortel SIP Multimedia PC Client, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the connection handling and can be exploited to exhaust resources by creating a large number of sessions.

The vulnerability is reported in version 4.x. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Use only in a trusted network environment.
