Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Orca Interactive Forum Script, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks and malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed to the "gConf[dir][layouts]" parameter in layout/default/params.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
2) Input passed to the "topic_subject" parameter when posting a new topic is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious topic is viewed.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.0.2. Other versions may also be affected.
