CVE-2008-5322
CVE-2008-5323

Description:
StAkeR has discovered some vulnerabilities in Wysi Wiki Wyg, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "c" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used to display files. This can be exploited to display arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

2) It is possible to view certain system information returned by the "phpinfo()" function by accessing the index.php script with the "categup" parameter set to "isset".

3) Input passed to the "s" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised. Implement access restrictions in the part of index.php that calls "phpinfo()".
