Description: Some security issues have been discovered in @Mail, which can be exploited by malicious, local users and malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
1) Two security issues are caused due to the webmail/libs/Atmail/Config.php and webmail/webadmin/.htpasswd files having world readable permissions. This can be exploited to obtain e.g. the database user and password or the MD5 hash of the Webadmin password.
2) Access to the file "build-plesk-upgrade.php" is not restricted, which can be exploited to create and download a backup of the atmail directory, including sensitive information e.g. configuration and .htpasswd files.
The security issues are confirmed in version 5.41 on Linux. Prior versions may also be affected.
