Description

James Bercegay has reported some vulnerabilities in PHP Live Helper, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "dep" parameter in onlinestatus_html.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. retrieval of administrator passwords.

2) Input passed to unspecified parameters in libsecure.php is not properly verified before being used. This can be exploited to overwrite variables from the db config file, and allows e.g. the execution of arbitrary PHP code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

3) Input passed to the "test" parameter in chat.php (when "rg" is set to "0") is not properly sanitised before being used in "eval()" calls. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
