Description: Some security issues have been reported in Plait, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated privileges.
The security issues are caused due to the application creating temporary files in an insecure manner. This can be exploited to overwrite arbitrary files with escalated privileges via symlink attacks.
The security issues are reported in versions prior to 1.6.2.
