Description: Alemin_Krali has reported some vulnerabilities in aspWebAlbum, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks or compromise a vulnerable system.
1) The application does not properly restrict access to the image upload functionality. This can be exploited to upload and execute malicious ASP scripts by accessing the affected script directly.
2) Input passed to the "txtUserName" parameter in album.asp (if "action" is set to "processlogin") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
3) Input passed to the "message" parameter in album.asp (if "action" is set to "summary") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected website.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 3.2. Other versions may also be affected.
