Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in HP OpenView Network Node Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Some vulnerabilities are caused due to errors in "ovalarmsrv", which can be exploited to cause a DoS.

2) Multiple errors in "ovalarmsrv" can be exploited to cause a DoS or potentially execute arbitrary code via specially crafted requests sent to default port 2954/TCP or 2953/TCP.

The vulnerabilities are reported in HP OpenView Network Node Manager (OV NNM) v7.01, v7.51, and v7.53 running on HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
