Description


VMware has acknowledged some vulnerabilities in VMware ESX Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to spoof authenticated SNMPv3 packets, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), or potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

1) An error in libpng can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

2) Some vulnerabilities in freetype potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise an application using the library.

3) A vulnerability in ucd-snmp can be exploited to spoof an authenticated SNMPv3 packet.

4) An error in libtiff can be exploited to cause a buffer underflow.
