Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in MySQL, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing an empty bit-string literal and can be exploited to crash the server via a specially crafted SQL statement.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.0.66 and 5.1.26.
