Description: Two vulnerabilities have been reported in the Talk module for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks, and by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
1) Input passed as the node title is not properly sanitised before being stored. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is viewed.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user credentials.
2) A vulnerability is caused due to improper access restriction when viewing comments. This can be exploited to view comments to a node without sufficient access rights.
The vulnerabilities are reported in all 5.x versions prior to 5.x-1.3 and all 6.x versions prior to 6.x-1.5.
