Description: A vulnerability has been reported in strongSwan, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to a NULL-pointer dereference error in the IKEv2 "charon" daemon. This can be exploited to terminate the daemon via a specially crafted IKE_SA_INIT message.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 4.2.7.
