David Vieira-Kurz has reported some vulnerabilities in BluePage CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and session fixation attacks.
1) Input passed to the "whl" and "search" parameters in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.
2) The application does not properly handle user sessions. This can be exploited to hijack another user's session by tricking the user into logging in after following a specially crafted link.
These vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.5. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 2.5.8.
