Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Achievo, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "atkaction" parameter in dispatch.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.
2) Input passed via the URL to index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.
Successful exploitation requires that the victim is not logged in.
Vulnerability #1 is confirmed in version 1.3.2 and 1.3.4 and vulnerability #2 is confirmed in version 1.3.4.
Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
