Justin C. Klein Keane has reported a vulnerability in the Brilliant Gallery module for Drupal, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed in the URL to the "bgchecklist/save" script is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieval of administrator password hashes, but requires valid user credentials with the "access brilliant_gallery" permission.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 5.x-3.1 and 5.x-4.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Use another product, as the module has been removed from drupal.org.
