A vulnerability has been reported in XWork, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to the "ParameterInterceptor" class improperly restricting access to server-side objects. This can be exploited to modify server-side objects (e.g. "#session.user") via specially crafted OGNL (Object-Graph Navigation Language) expressions.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.0.6.
Solution: Update to version 2.0.6.
