Description:
sr. has reported a vulnerability in Netgear WGR614v8 and WGR614v9, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the web interface when handling requests containing a question mark ("?"), which can be exploited to stop a vulnerable device from responding.

The vulnerability is reported in all firmware versions of WGR614v9 and also affects the WGR614v8 device. WGR614v6 and WGR614v7 are not affected.
