Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in multiple SSH Tectia products, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when handling errors within an SSH session encrypted with a block cipher algorithm in the CBC (Cipher-Block Chaining) mode. This can be exploited to potentially disclose up to 32 plaintext bits from an arbitrary block of ciphertext.

NOTE: An attack has a low probability of success, an attempt resulting in the termination of the current SSH session.

Successful exploitation requires that an attacker is able to read and alter network data.

The vulnerability affects the following products:
* SSH Tectia Client, Server, and ConnectSecure 6.0.4 and older in the 6.x series
* SSH Tectia Client, Server, and Connector 5.3.x versions 5.3.8 and prior
* SSH Tectia Client, Server, and Connector 5.x versions 5.2.4 and prior
* SSH Tectia Client, Server, and Connector 4.x versions 4.4.11 and prior
* SSH Tectia Server for Linux on IBM System z 6.0.4
* SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS 6.0.1 and 6.0.0
* SSH Tectia Server for IBM z/OS 5.5.1 and prior
* SSH Tectia Client 4.3.3-J (Japanese) and prior in the 4.x-J series
* SSH Tectia Client 4.3.10-K (Korean) and prior in the 4.x-K series
