Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in MODx CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "reflect_base" parameter in assets/snippets/reflect/snippet.reflect.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local and external resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

2) Input passed to the "username" parameter when logging in is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to inject and execute HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Some SQL injections in the manager search interface are also reported.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 0.9.6.3.
