A security issue has been discovered in multiple CodeAvalanche products, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
The security issue is caused due to the applications' databases being stored with insecure permissions inside the web root. This can be exploited to gain knowledge of sensitive information (e.g. the administrator password) by downloading the file.
This security issue is confirmed in the following CodeAvalanche products:
Solution: Move the database files out of the web root.
