Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in the Hotel Booking System component for Joomla, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed via the "r_type" parameter in index.php (when "option" is set to "com_hbssearch" and "task" is set to "showhoteldetails") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed via the "id" parameter in index.php (when "option" is set to "com_tophotelmodule" and "task" is set to "showhoteldetails") and to is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

3) Input passed via the "id" parameter in index.php (when "option" is set to "com_lowcosthotels" or "com_allhotels" and "task" is set to "showhoteldetails") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

4) Input passed via the "id" parameter in index.php (when "option" is set to "com_5starhotels" and "task" is set to "showhoteldetails") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

5) Input passed via the "id", "h_id", and "rid" parameters to components/com_hbssearch/longDesc.php is not properly sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

6) Input passed via the "h_id" parameter to detail.php, detail1.php, detail2.php, detail3.php, detail4.php, detail5.php, detail6.php, detail7.php, and detail8.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries.This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Vulnerabilities #5 and #6 may be related to vulnerabilities #3 to #4.

7) Input passed via the "adult" parameter to index.php (if "option" is set to "com_hbssearch" and "task" to "showhoteldetails") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Vulnerabilities #2, #3, and #4 may affect Hotel Booking System Package II and III only.
