Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in UW-imapd, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the "rfc822_output_char()" function in the c-client library. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow with one byte and crash an application using the library.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2007e.
