Xia Shing Zee has reported some vulnerabilities in ViArt Shop, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and cross-site request forgery attacks.
1) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. perform script insertion attacks via the "cart_name" parameter by tricking the user into visiting a malicious web site.
2) Input passed to the "manuals_search" parameter in manuals_search.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in the context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 3.5. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
