Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Unified Communications Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is cause due to unspecified errors in the Certificate Authority Proxy Function (CAPF) service when processing malformed input. This can be exploited to interrupt voice services by sending malformed data to the CAPF service on TCP port 3804.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that the CAPF service is enabled.
This vulnerability is reported in versions 5.1 prior to 5.1(3e) and 6.1 prior to 6.1(3).
