Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Squid, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an assertion error when processing malformed HTTP version numbers, which can be exploited to cause a server to abort by sending specially crafted requests to a vulnerable server.

The vulnerability is reported in version 2.7 through 2.7.STABLE5, 3.0 through 3.0.STABLE12, and 3.1 through 3.1.0.4.
