Description

Some vulnerabilities and a security issue have been discovered in Online Grades, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and disclose sensitive information.

1) Input passed to the "uname" and "pword" parameters in admin/admin_login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "uname" and "pass" parameters in parents/login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Vulnerabilities #1 and #2 can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism.

Successful exploitation of vulnerabilities #1 and #2 require that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

3) The include/phpinfo.php script is stored with insecure permissions inside the web root. This can be exploited to gain knowledge of sensitive information (e.g. PHP configuration details) by requesting the file directly.

The vulnerabilities and security issue are confirmed in version 3.2.4. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution
Update to version 3.2.5, which fixes vulnerabilities #1 and #2.
