Description

Some vulnerabilities have been reported in multiple Whole Hog Software products, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and conduct SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "uid" and "pwd" parameters in admin/login_submit.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

These vulnerabilities can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism.

2) The application allows access to the admin interface by checking if a certain cookie exists. This can be exploited to gain administrative access to the application by creating the cookie "adminid" and assigning it a numeric value.

These vulnerabilities are reported in the following products:
- Ware Support
- Password Protect: Enhanced

Solution
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and proper access restrictions are implemented.
