Fedora has issued an update for dnsmasq. This fixes a security issue and a vulnerability, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to perform certain actions with escalated privileges and malicious people to poison the DNS cache.

The security issue is caused due to previous builds of dnsmasq not properly dropping privileges to e.g. user "nobody". This may be exploited to perform certain actions with root privileges.

Solution
Apply updated packages using the yum utility ("yum update dnsmasq").
