Description: Mr Ha1 has discovered a weakness in Windows Live Messenger, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The weakness is caused due to a format string error in the processing of malformed messages and can be exploited to crash the application.
The weakness is confirmed in msnmsgr.exe version 14.0.8064.206. Other versions may also be affected.
