Description

A security issue has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to an unspecified error in the Solaris NFS server, which can be exploited to access file systems shared via NFS when using a combination of AUTH_NONE and AUTH_SYS.

The security issue is reported in Solaris 10 and OpenSolaris for both the SPARC and x86 platforms.
