Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Tivoli Storage Manager, where one has an unknown impact and others can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or bypass certain security restrictions.
1) A vulnerability exists due to an unspecified error related to the TSM admin command line.
2) An unspecified error can cause the TSM server to hang or to crash, e.g. via a port scan.
3) An unspecified error within the TSM server may allow unauthorised access to the server.
NOTE: Other errors that potentially have a security impact have also been reported.
Solution: Update to version 6.1.
