Description: Mike Bailey has discovered a vulnerability in Transmission, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to the web interface allowing users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. change the download directory and add new torrent files to the download queue.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.60.
