Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in DM FileManager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and bypass certain security restrictions.
1) Input passed to the "username" parameter in login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
2) Improper access restrictions are in place when accessing the administration interface. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism and gain access to the administration control panel by e.g. setting the "USER", "GROUPID", and "GROUP" cookies.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 3.9.2. Other versions may also be affected.
