Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in strongSwan, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

1) An error when processing ASN.1 Relative Distinguished Names can be exploited to crash the pluto IKE daemon via a specially crafted X.509 certificate.

2) An error when converting ASN.1 UTCTIME and GENERALIZEDTIME strings can be exploited to crash the pluto IKE daemon via a specially crafted X.509 certificate.

The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 2.8.10, 4.2.16, and 4.3.2. Other versions may also be affected.
