A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Physical Access Gateway, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to a memory leak, which can be exploited to cause a DoS, affecting connected door hardware (e.g. card readers, locks, or other input/output devices), by sending specially crafted packets to port 443/TCP.

NOTE: Depending on the configuration affected doors will remain open or locked.

The vulnerability is reported in Cisco Physical Gateway software prior to version 1.1.

Update to Cisco Physical Gateway software version 1.1.
