A vulnerability has been reported in Cisco Video Surveillance Services Platform and Integrated Services Platform, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing UDP packets and can be exploited to crash and reboot an affected system via a specially crafted packet sent to port 37000.

The vulnerability is reported in firmware versions prior to 5.3.

Solution
Update the firmware to version 5.3.
