A vulnerability has been reported in ForumPal FE, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input supplied when logging in via the login page (login.asp) is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation e.g. allows bypassing the login functionality.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Filter malicious characters and character sequences using a proxy.
