hack4love has discovered a vulnerability in AudioPLUS, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the processing of playlist files and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via e.g. an ".m3u" or ".lst" file having an overly long entry.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 18.104.22.168. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Do not open untrusted playlists.
