Description: A weakness has been reported in Apache, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The weakness is caused due to Apache not properly stopping certain modules when a client disconnects. This can be exploited to e.g. cause a high CPU load by requesting large files which are compressed by mod_deflate and then disconnecting.
Successful exploitation requires that e.g. mod_deflate or a similar module is enabled.
