Description: A vulnerability has been discovered in refbase, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks.
The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validation checks to verify the requests. This can be exploited to e.g. create new users when a logged-in administrative user visits a malicious web site.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.9.5. Other versions may also be affected.
NOTE: An weakness in the handling of SQL queries has also been reported, which can be exploited to display fake information if a user follows a specially crafted link.
